With Genshin Impact version 2.4 now live, a brand-new area has been added to the game: Enkanomiya, a mysterious land beneath Watatsumi Island. However, players won’t be able to explore Enkanomiya right-away. Instead, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops before Enkanomiya opens up.
How to Unlock The Still Water’s Flow Quest
To begin the process of unlocking Enkanomiya, you’ll need to complete the quest The Still Water’s Flow. There are a couple of requirements to unlock this quest, however. First, you must be Adventure Rank 30 or above. You’ll also need to have completed the Archon Quest Chapter 2: Act 3 – Omnipresence Over mortals and the Heart of Watatsumi World Quest. Once you’ve met these conditions, The Still Water’s Flow will appear in the quest menu.
How to Complete The Still Water’s Flow Quest
Now that you’ve unlocked the quest, you’ll need to speak with Tsuyuko at the Sangonomiya Shrine. She’ll ask you to accompany her to an altar, which will be marked on your map. Go to the marked location, and she’ll then task you with retrieving two Key Sigils on Watatsumi Island. These will be marked on your map, and are located in the following places:
To get to the eastern Key Sigil, you’ll need to enter a cave that you previously explored during the Heart of Watatsumi Island World Quest. If you’ve forgotten where the opening is, see below for the exact location:
Inside the cave, you’ll have to defeat some Fatui before you can interact with the Key Sigil. Interact with it, and it’ll be added to your inventory.
The northern Key Sigil is located overground. You’ll need to defeat some nearby Ruin Sentinels, then you can interact with the Key Sigil.
You’ll then be prompted to activate two altars on Watatsumi Island, which will be marked on your map. At each altar, you’ll offer up one of your Key Sigils. You’ll then return to Tsuyuko, who will ask you to enter Enkanomiya. All that’s left to do is jump into the whirlpool beneath you, and you’ll find yourself in Enkanomiya. Happy exploring!
