How to Watch EA Play Live 2021 and What to Expect


The EA Play Live 2021 showcase is just around the corner and this time it’s being split into multiple parts, each one focusing on different genres of games. Here’s everything you need to know about EA Play Live this year and how to watch it.

EA Play Live Spotlight – The Future of FPS on July 8

The first showcase, called ‘The Future of FPS’ will be streamed today, July 8 at 10:30 pm on EA’s YouTube and Twitch channels. The first show will be dedicated to EA’s first-person shooter titles Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends.

EA <3s Independent Studios – July 13

 

Next up is the ‘EA <3 Independent Studios’ showcase set for July 13 at 10:30 pm. The spotlight will focus on EA’s indie partnerships, namely under the ‘EA Originals’ program. The show will mainly deliver game updates and deep-dives on It Takes Two, Lost in Random, Knockout City and the newly formed Silver Rain Games studio.

Madden NFL 22 All-Access – July 19

An entire episode of EA Play Live spotlight will be dedicated to Madden NFL 22 on July 19 at 4:30 am. The first look at a brand new scouting feature, coming in September, will also be revealed. The spotlight will for the most part focus on how the fans of the franchise helped the developers bring highly requested features like Staff Management, weekly game strategy and a new scenario engine.

EA Sports Spotlight – July 20

 

Of course, you can’t have an EA showcase without sports games. Not much is known about this event, but we’re willing to bet the FIFA 22 reveal will happen here. The ‘EA Sports’ spotlight will air on July 20 at 10:30 pm.

EA Play Live – Main Event on July 22

The final event will take place on July 22 at 10:30 pm, with multiple new game reveals slated for the show. WWE superstar Austin Creed will be hosting the show, which is also said to contain a few giveaways as well. EA has revealed that the show won’t reveal projects that are too far into the future, so don’t expect games like Dragon Age 4 or the next Mass Effect.
