The next restock of PS5 consoles in India has been set for Monday, October 25, 2021, at 12 pm across all major retailers in the country. Banners for the upcoming restock have been posted by multiple retailers across the country, including Sony’s own ShopAtSC online store. The new restock arrives in time for Diwali celebrations in the country which will be held in the first week of November.
PS5 consoles will go on sale on Games The Shop, ShopatSC with other retailers like Vijay Sales and Croma also expected to put up the console for sale. The last restock of PS5 in India took place earlier this month, with consoles being shipped out in the second week of October. This would mark the shortest delay between PS5 restocks in the country ever since the PS5 released in early February of this year.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has approved the new revision for arrival on future restocks, as spotted by a Twitter account keeping track of PS5 India news. While previous restocks did not include the new revision of the console, the next one most probably will given that Sony would want to bring in more stock for the festive season.
For more on PS5 restocks and how some of the country’s biggest retailers are handling the situation, check out IGN India’s interview with Vijay Sales. Despite a low amount of console’s restocks, the PS5 has managed to stay on top of sales charts in the country, which paves the way for more stock getting allocated to the country as per distributors for Sony. While there is no mention of the Pulse 3D Wireless headset making its way to India as per Sony’s lack of store listings, Indian retailer Mcube Games has listing them for sale regularly.
The PlayStation 5 costs Rs. 49,990 in India with the Digital Edition priced at Rs. 39,990.
