Following on from the events of Battle for Azeroth, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will see the game move to the new realm of WoW’s afterlife (the eponymous Shadowlands). As well as the new setting, the main changes include a level 60 level cap to make level grinding slightly less of a chore for new characters (the existing max level 120 characters will be brought down to level 50), and also a new feature called “Covenants” which are AI controlled characters that players can pledge allegiance to for special bonuses.
The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion was originally scheduled to be released on October 26th 2020 but the launch has been pushed back to November 23rd or November 24th depending on your time zone, just in time for Black Friday! You can however already pre-order the game before release. See below for details on the different versions of the game you can purchase, and also the retailers we expect to have the best Black Friday offers on The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands this November.
